This is a piece inspired by the widely appreciated Murano mirrors. These pieces are
replenished with delighting flower-patterned designs worked in glass. Bessa took on
the challenge to recreate the Murano mirror and introduced a flower worked in
filigree, which is a Portuguese traditional craft production technique. The petals
worked in a filigree thread recreate the beautiful flower unfolding movement, guiding
our look to the heart of this piece. The essence of Bessa´s Murano mirror is entirely
in this filigree work combined with an aged glass that takes us to the past and
recuperates cherished memories.
Materials: Fine silver + 24K fine gold plated, aged extra clear tempered glass,
(back) black lacquered mdf, mirror.
